No-Bake Lemon Bars
A bright, creamy lemon dessert with a buttery cookie crust and zero oven time.

shortbread cookies, finely crushed 2 cups
unsalted butter, melted 6 tbsp
cream cheese, softened 8 oz
sweetened condensed milk 1 (14 oz) can
fresh lemon juice 1/2 cup
lemon zest 1 tbsp
whipped topping 1 cup
powdered sugar, for dusting 2 tbsp
Method
1 Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment.
2 Stir the crushed cookies with melted butter and press firmly into the pan. Chill 10 minutes.
3 Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then beat in the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
4 Fold in the whipped topping until evenly combined.
5 Spread the filling over the chilled crust and refrigerate at least 4 hours, until firm.
6 Dust with powdered sugar and slice into bars.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar, for dusting

Method

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment.
  2. Stir the crushed cookies with melted butter and press firmly into the pan. Chill 10 minutes.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then beat in the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping until evenly combined.
  5. Spread the filling over the chilled crust and refrigerate at least 4 hours, until firm.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar and slice into bars.

Notes

Chill overnight for the cleanest slices.
