Garlic Bean Sprout Stir-Fry
Cook quickly—overcooking makes bean sprouts watery.
Ingredients
- 1 lb bean sprouts, rinsed and drained well
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 scallions, sliced
- to taste Sesame seeds (optional)
Method
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Sauté garlic 10–15 seconds until fragrant.
- Add bean sprouts and stir-fry 2–3 minutes until hot but still crisp.
- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt; toss 30 seconds.
- Top with scallions and sesame seeds.
