Protein Waffles
Keep waffles warm in a 200°F oven on a rack while you cook batches.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp milk (extra, as needed)
Method
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla; stir into dry until just combined.
- Cook in waffle iron until crisp and golden. Serve immediately.
- Stir protein powder in last; thin batter if needed.
