HEATHeat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment.

MELTMelt butter; whisk in sugar.

STIRStir in cocoa, flour, and salt just until combined.

FOLDFold in chocolate chips if using.

DOLLOPDollop peanut butter on top and swirl with a knife before baking.

Method
