Marinara Meatballs

Ingredients

ground beef (or turkey) 1 lb
breadcrumbs 1/2 cup
egg 1
grated Parmesan 1/4 cup
garlic, minced 2 cloves
chopped parsley 2 tbsp
salt 1 tsp
Black pepper to taste
olive oil (for browning) 1 tbsp
marinara sauce 2 cups
spaghetti (optional) 12 oz
Method
1 HEATHeat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2 MIXMix meat, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until just combined.
3 ROLLRoll into 16 meatballs and place on the sheet.
4 BAKEBake 15–18 minutes until cooked through.
5 WARMWarm marinara in a skillet; add baked meatballs and simmer 5 minutes.
6 SERVEServe with pasta or in a sub.

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for browning)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 12 oz spaghetti (optional)

Method

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix meat, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Roll into 16 meatballs and place on the sheet.
  4. Bake 15–18 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Warm marinara in a skillet; add baked meatballs and simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with pasta or in a sub.
