Turkish Pasta
A flavorful pasta dish with spiced beef and yogurt sauce.

Ingredients

pasta (penne or rigatoni) 12 oz
ground beef 1 lb
olive oil 1 tbsp
garlic, minced 4 cloves
cumin 1 tsp
paprika 1 tsp
cinnamon 1/2 tsp
Salt and black pepper to taste to taste
garlic, minced (for yogurt) 2 cloves
butter 4 tbsp
paprika 2 tsp
red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp
Fresh parsley for garnish to taste
Method
1 COOKCook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
2 BROWNBrown ground beef in olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook for 8-10 minutes until beef is cooked through.
3 MIXMix yogurt with minced garlic and a pinch of salt. Set aside at room temperature.
4 MELTMelt butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add paprika and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and butter turns deep red.
5 PLATEPlate pasta, top with seasoned beef, spoon yogurt sauce generously over top, then drizzle paprika butter all over.
6 GARNISHGarnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
