Apple Crisp
Serve warm crisps with vanilla ice cream if you like.
Ingredients
- 6 cups sliced apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- to taste Topping: 1 cup oats
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp butter, cold and cubed
Method
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- Toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon; spread in a baking dish.
- Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt; cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping over apples and bake 30–35 minutes until bubbly.
