Chocolate Cream Pie (Easy)
Serve warm crisps with vanilla ice cream if you like.
Ingredients
- 1 baked pie crust
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- Pinch salt
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- to taste Whipped cream
Method
- Whisk sugar, cornstarch, salt, cocoa, and yolks; gradually whisk in milk.
- Cook over medium heat, whisking, until thickened and bubbling.
- Off heat, stir in butter and vanilla.
- Pour into crust; chill 4 hours; top with whipped cream.
