Fudgy Brownies
For clean slices, chill brownies 30 minutes before cutting.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (113g) butter
- 1 cup (200g) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (35g) cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Method
- Heat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment.
- Melt butter; whisk in sugar.
- Whisk in eggs and vanilla until glossy.
- Stir in cocoa, flour, and salt just until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Bake 22–28 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly fudgy. Cool completely before slicing.
