Hummus (Roasted Red Pepper)
Serve with pita, veggies, or as a sandwich spread.
Ingredients
- 1 can / (15 oz) chickpeas, drained
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2–4 tbsp water
- to taste Paprika (optional)
- 1 roasted red pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Method
- Blend chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, and salt until mostly smooth.
- Stream in olive oil and enough water to reach a creamy texture.
- Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and paprika.
- Blend roasted pepper and paprika into hummus.
