Lemon Cake
Cool cakes fully before frosting to prevent melting.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Method
- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 pan.
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk eggs, milk, butter, zest, and juice; stir into dry ingredients.
- Bake 28–32 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
