Lemon Loaf (Poppy Seed)

baking powder 1 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp
sugar 1 cup
eggs 2
milk 1/2 cup
melted butter 1/2 cup
lemon zest 2 tbsp
lemon juice 1/4 cup
Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar + 2 tbsp lemon juice to taste
poppy seeds 2 tbsp
Method
1 HEATHeat oven to 350°F. Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment.
2 WHISKWhisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
3 WHISKWhisk sugar and eggs until pale; whisk in milk, butter, zest, and lemon juice.
4 FOLDFold in dry ingredients just until combined.
5 BAKEBake 45–55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
6 STIRStir poppy seeds into batter with dry ingredients.
7 WHISKWhisk glaze and drizzle over cooled loaf.
