(100g) granulated sugar 1/2 cup
(100g) brown sugar 1/2 cup

baking soda 1/2 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp
cocoa powder 1/3 cup
Reduce flour by 1/3 cup to taste
Method
1 HEATHeat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.
2 CREAMCream butter, peanut butter, and sugars.
3 BEATBeat in egg and vanilla.
4 MIXMix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
5 WHISKWhisk cocoa into dry ingredients; reduce flour accordingly.
6 SCOOPScoop balls; press with a fork to make a crosshatch.
7 BAKEBake 10–11 minutes; cool 5 minutes on the sheet.

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/3 cups (295g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

Method

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.

  3. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
