Peanut Butter Cookies (Walnut)
Use creamy peanut butter for the most consistent texture.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (113g) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (120g) peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups (160g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Method
- Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.
- Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold in walnuts with the mix-ins.
- Scoop balls; press with a fork to make a crosshatch.
- Bake 10–11 minutes; cool 5 minutes on the sheet.
