Baked Mac and Cheese

flour 3 tbsp
milk 2 1/2 cups
shredded cheddar 2 1/2 cups
salt 1/2 tsp
breadcrumbs (optional) 1/2 cup
melted butter (for crumbs) 1 tbsp
Method
1 COOKCook macaroni; drain.
2 MAKEMake cheese sauce (butter+flour, milk, melt in cheddar); season.
3 COMBINECombine pasta and sauce; pour into a baking dish.
4 TOPTop with buttered breadcrumbs if using; bake 375°F 20 minutes; broil 1–2 minutes to brown.
