Beef and Broccoli Rice Bowl (Quick)
A delicious beef and broccoli rice recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp oil
- to taste Sauce: 1/4 cup soy sauce + 2 tbsp brown sugar + 2 tbsp water + 1 tsp sesame oil + 2 cloves garlic
- to taste Slurry: 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
- to taste Sesame seeds (optional)
Method
- Stir-fry beef in oil over high heat 2–3 minutes; remove.
- Stir-fry broccoli with a splash of water until crisp-tender, 4 minutes.
- Add sauce; simmer 1 minute; thicken with slurry.
- Return beef; toss to coat.
- Serve over rice; top with sesame seeds.
