Dinner Rolls (Quick)
Bread dough rises faster in a warm spot; slower in a cool kitchen.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp yeast
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
Method
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast; add milk, butter, and egg; knead 6 minutes.
- Rise 60 minutes.
- Shape 12 rolls; rise 20 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 18–20 minutes until golden.
