Pizza Dough (Basic)
Bread dough rises faster in a warm spot; slower in a cool kitchen.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast; add water and oil and knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and rise 60 minutes until puffy.
- Divide and stretch; top as desired.
- Bake at 500°F (or as hot as oven goes) 10–14 minutes until browned.
