Fried Rice (Basic)
For rice dishes, rinse rice for fluffier texture unless making risotto.

eggs 2
mixed vegetables 1 cup
soy sauce 2 tbsp
sesame oil 1 tsp
oil 1 tbsp
Scallions to taste
Method
1 HEATHeat oil in a skillet; scramble eggs and set aside.
2 STIR-FRYStir-fry vegetables 2 minutes; add rice and cook 3 minutes.
3 ADDAdd soy sauce and sesame oil; return eggs; toss.
4 TOPTop with scallions and serve.

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • to taste Scallions

Method

  1. Heat oil in a skillet; scramble eggs and set aside.
  2. Stir-fry vegetables 2 minutes; add rice and cook 3 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce and sesame oil; return eggs; toss.
  4. Top with scallions and serve.
