Homemade Naan (Stovetop)
Bread dough rises faster in a warm spot; slower in a cool kitchen.
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp yeast
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
- to taste Butter and garlic (optional)
Method
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast; stir in milk, yogurt, and oil to form dough.
- Knead 5 minutes; rise 60 minutes.
- Divide into 8; roll ovals.
- Cook in hot skillet 1–2 minutes per side until blistered.
- Brush with butter/garlic if desired.
