Kimchi Fried Rice
A fried egg on top is classic—add one for extra richness.
Ingredients
- 3 cups day-old cooked rice
- 1 cup chopped kimchi
- 2 tbsp kimchi juice (optional)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 scallions, sliced
- to taste Sesame seeds (optional)
Method
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high.
- Add kimchi and stir-fry 2 minutes; add kimchi juice if using.
- Add rice and break up clumps; cook 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Push rice to one side; scramble eggs in the empty space, then mix in.
- Top with scallions and sesame seeds.
