flour 3 tbsp
milk 2 1/2 cups
shredded cheddar 2 cups
salt 1/2 tsp
Black pepper to taste
Method
1 COOKCook macaroni; drain.
2 MAKEMake roux: melt butter, whisk in flour 1 minute.
3 WHISKWhisk in milk; simmer until thick, 3–5 minutes.
4 OFFOff heat, melt in cheddar; season.
5 TOSSToss with pasta and serve.
