Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup
Use thighs for the juiciest slow-cooker chicken, but breasts work too.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb chicken breasts
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 2 cups egg noodles
- to taste Parsley
Method
- Add chicken, vegetables, garlic, broth, salt, and pepper to slow cooker.
- Cook on low 6–7 hours; shred chicken.
- Stir in noodles; cook 20–30 minutes until tender.
- Finish with parsley and serve.
