Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken
Use thighs for the juiciest slow-cooker chicken, but breasts work too.

chicken thighs 1.5 lb
salt 1/2 tsp
Sauce: 1/3 cup soy sauce + 2 tbsp brown sugar + 2 tbsp rice vinegar + 1 tbsp ginger + 2 cloves garlic to taste
Slurry: 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water to taste
Sesame seeds and scallions to taste
Method
1 ADDAdd chicken and sauce to slow cooker; cook on low 5–6 hours.
2 REMOVERemove chicken; whisk in slurry; thicken sauce on high 10 minutes.
3 RETURNReturn chicken; top with sesame and scallions; serve over rice.
