Teriyaki Noodles
For rice dishes, rinse rice for fluffier texture unless making risotto.

noodles (udon or spaghetti) 12 oz
oil 1 tbsp
mixed vegetables 2 cups
chicken or tofu (optional) 1 lb
Sauce: 1/3 cup soy sauce + 2 tbsp brown sugar + 2 tbsp rice vinegar + 1 tsp ginger + 2 cloves garlic to taste
Slurry: 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water to taste
Sesame seeds to taste
Method
1 COOKCook noodles; drain.
2 STIR-FRYStir-fry veggies (and protein if using) in oil until tender.
3 SIMMERSimmer sauce; thicken with slurry.
4 TOSSToss noodles with veggies and sauce; top with sesame seeds.
