Veggie Black Bean Burgers
Handle meat gently to keep burgers tender.
Ingredients
- 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 4 buns
Method
- Mash beans until mostly broken down.
- Stir in breadcrumbs, egg, spices, salt, and onion; form 4 patties.
- Pan-fry in oil 4–5 minutes per side until browned.
- Serve on buns with toppings.
