Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice.
  • 2 quarts boiling water.
  • 1 tablespoon salt.

Method

  1. Pick over rice; add slowly to boiling, salted water.
  2. Boil thirty minutes, or until soft.
  3. Drain, pour over one quart hot water, and let stand to dry off.
