Orange Cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar.
  • 1⅔ cups flour.
  • 2½ teaspoons baking powder.
  • 2 eggs.
  • milk.
  • Cream.
  • butter.
  • Orange Frosting.

Method

  1. Split layers, and spread ¼ cup butter.
  2. Cream the butter, add sugar gradually, eggs well Then add flour mixed and sifted with Bake in a thin sheet in a dripping-pan.
  3. Cut in halves, spread one-half with Orange Filling.
  4. Put over other half, and cover with Orange Frosting.

Kitchen Notes

  • A dripping-pan is a roasting pan.
