Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup raisins seeded and cut in pieces
  • ½ cup molasses
  • ½ cup boiled coffee
  • 2 eggs
  • 2½ cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ nutmeg grated

Method

  1. Follow directions for mixing butter cake mixtures.
