Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup corn-starch
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 5 egg whites
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract

Method

  1. Follow recipe for mixing butter cakes.
  2. This mixture makes two loaves.
