Farina Gruel.
Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water.
- 1 tablespoon farina.
- Cold water.
- 1 cup milk.
- 1 egg.
- ½ teaspoon salt.
Method
- Mix farina with enough cold water to form a thin paste.
- Add to boiling water and boil thirty minutes; then add milk and reheat. Beat egg, add to gruel, season, and serve.
