Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon whole flaxseed
  • 1 pint boiling water
  • lemon juice
  • sugar

Method

  1. Pick over and wash flaxseed, add water, and cook two hours, keeping just below boiling point.
  2. Strain, add lemon juice, and sugar to taste.
